O-ring, (also known as: O-ring, O-ring, O-ring, O-ring) is a ring-shaped mechanical gasket. It is an annular elastomer with a common circular cross-section. It is generally fixed in a groove and compressed by two or more components during the assembly process, thus creating a sealed interface. Because of its low price, simple manufacturing, reliable function, and simple installation requirements, O-rings are the most common mechanical design for sealing, and a small number of them are used as transmission belts. O-rings can be used in static applications, and can also be used in dynamic applications where there is relative motion between components.
